" Making a mezzanine bed for my 5 and a half son. Real space saving, storage and he loves his cabin bed !

The bed has a height of 150 cm under the mezzanine and has been assembled with screws and trunnions.

The entire bed is alder (pre-cut for windows) and the bed base is an assembly of a single alder panel and a second "layer" of pine planks to stiffen the assembly.

It is planned to adds rods and curtains to complete the "cabin" side. The assembly does not move, it is very aesthetic and fully fulfills its functions as a play/ study space. "
