Types of wood Beech
Vernacular name Fagus silvatica L.
Ply Multi-line wood created by gluing layers of veneer perpendicular to the surface (laminated veneer lumber). Presence of peculiarities (hollows left behind by wood knots) that can be plugged by putty.
Gluing Phenolic glue : extremely durable and water-resistant, it has been subjected to numerous research studies and hence has empirical values collected over several decades; no formaldehyde emissions
8 to 10%:
Kiln dried quality. This rate grants a great stability to the wood in all interior uses.
Sanded with P80 and P100 grade sandpaper on 2 faces. Finishing sanding (P150) is to be performed before applying the finish.
